Born in 1958 in St. Louis, MO, Robert Washington was raised in Cape Girardeau, MO. His first memories of Elvis were of watching his movies on television. He also remembers hearing "Jail House Rock" on the radio and being impressed with the King's style. From then on, he was a loyal Presley fan.

In 1977, while Robert was serving his country in the Marine Corps, he found himself connected to Elvis as the singer died on Robert's 19th birthday. For the next few years, Robert sang along with Elvis and practiced his moves for fun. With the support of his wife, he added a microphone to his stereo system and performed only for close friends.

In 1983, Robert entertained on stage for the first time in Waukegan, IL. His rendition of "Don't Be Cruel" went over so well that he ended up singing for the rest of the evening. That was the beginning of his career.

Robert won the Images of the King World Championship and has gone on to be one of the most popular entertainers on the circuit. His Tribute to James Brown is an added attraction.

There are lots of Elvis-style performers....some call themselves "Elvis Impersonators". Some call themselves "Elvis Tribute Artists". GaryElvis Britt prefers simply "Elvis Entertainer". His smooth, almost casual style on stage is very reminiscent of Elvis Presley himself. While performing all of the most touching and heart-felt songs, GaryElvis prides himself on the authenticity of the singing. The 4 octave range required to sing all of Elvis' songs in the original keys has never been a problem. Blessed is the word that comes to mind most for GaryElvis. He feels very blessed to be able to sing for tens of thousands of people on a yearly basis while always attempting to improve in every delivery. Since he began, in July of 2000, GaryElvis has felt a close kinship to all of Elvis' fans. GaryElvis has been very successful in the most difficult Elvis Competitions, making the Finals in all of the most highly recognized National and International Contests. GaryElvis has also hosted 10 ElvisFestivals including Tampa, FL, Brantford, Ontario and Windsor, Ontario, Canada. His wonderful wife, Christine, is a great supporter because, as she says, "I love the effect Gary's voice and charm have on all of his audiences." She tends to their 24 year-old advertising business in Brandon, FL while GaryElvis travels and hones his skill. He is also an accomplished song-writer and composer and soon will have his first original cd comprised of totally original material. Interestingly enough, GaryElvis also played major college football for legendary Paul "Bear" Bryant at the University of Alabama where he was proud to be a member of 4 Southeastern Conference Champions. Among other things of note, GaryElvis has performed in 4 major motion pictures, including "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" directed by Steven Spielberg, "Police Academy V: Assignment Miami Beach" and "Hooper" starring Burt Reynolds. GE's first national TV appearance was in 1983 with Richard Dawson on the "Family Feud". All in all, a warmer or more personable performer, will be very hard to find. GaryElvis is very happy and thankful to be here in Lake George again.

A native of Glenville, New York, I have been performing Elvis tribute shows throughout the region for many years. I have been blessed and had the great honor recently, (thanks to the Elvis Festivals), to sing on the Las Vegas Hilton Stage, (where Elvis himself performed), and also performed for Edison Pena, (one of the Chilean miners who was trapped for 70 days and told the world on the David Letterman Show he was a huge Elvis fan). If there is one thing I have learned from performing, it's that Elvis fans are the greatest people in the world. Many dear friends have been made throughout the Elvis world, so like Elvis once said, I'll keep singing the song. That's what performing is all about, smiles, happiness and more Elvis fans. Can't wait to see everyone again at the Lake George Elvis Festival 2012.
