Lake George Village is located approximately 50 miles north of Albany, New York, just off Exit 21 of I-87. From its southern tip at the village, Lake George itself extends another 32 miles north to Ticonderoga, New York.
From the SOUTH -
Take I-87 north (the Adirondack Northway) to Exit 21. Bear right off the exit ramp, then take your first left onto Route 9, which goes straight into Lake George Village.
From the NORTH -
Take I-87 south (the Adirondack Northway) to Exit 22. Bear right onto the ramp, then right again onto Route 9, which will take you into the center of the village.
