Judging Guidelines

Elvis Tibute Artist SingingHOW THE ELVIS® TRIBUTE ARTISTS ARE JUDGED:

At the LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival we take pride in offering a fair and competitive Tribute Artist competition. We go to great lengths to assure that our judges consider each talented performer with the same critical eye and attention to detail.

Our adult Tribute Artists are judged on appearance, performance, vocals and the entire "illusion of Elvis®" they present. Within these categories, there are eighteen elements they are scored on.

Our youth competitors are also judged on the same categories, but have only nine individual elements.

Each competitor performs two songs in each of the first two rounds of the competition. One set with the live band, and the second to tracks. After the first two rounds, the top five scoring competitors in each division and class move on to the finals.

The competition has the following five divisions and classes:

  • Professional 50-60s
  • Professional 70s
  • Non-Professional 50-60s
  • Non-Professional 70s
  • Youth
